The Besom in Esher, Claygate and Chessington started to emerge in 2010 when a small number of people began praying. After over a year of faithful prayer, the initiative has grown to include a core team of volunteers across three churches with many more supporters from the wider area, and launched as an operational Besom in March 2012.
The Besom is a bridge between those who want to give and those in need in our community. Groups and individuals can get involved by giving time, skills, money or things, and by praying for the work of the Besom.
