Welcome to our new caterpillars

Our very own Caterpillars have arrived at Jigsaw, we look forward to seeing them grow and watch what happens to them!

We have five, would you like to help name them? Please email any suggestions to Vicky at jigsawdeputy@holytrinityclaygate.org.uk

New morning and pick up routine

Reflecting on our daily routine, we have decided to trial a new system for the 9am drop off and 12.15pm collection times. We can appreciate what busy times these are, and the children’s wellbeing and safety are our top priority.

There will no longer be a staff member at the name table and therefore we would like to encourage parents and carers to assist their child if they need help finding their name. Arriving both for drop off and collection will remain the same. But we will now be asking parents/carers and children to exit the building via the double doors (by the book bag boxes).

On arrival there will be two staff members on the doors as usual, on exit there will be one staff member. Lunch club and extended days will remain the same as these sessions are a lot quieter. We hope that this new system will make the flow easier at these times for parents and children. We will begin on Tuesday 2nd May.

    Positive learning environment

We create a safe, secure, caring, stimulating and fun environment, where the staff develop the children’s learning through play.

    Forest School

Forest school sessions give the children the opportunity to be outside, in a small group, and experience fun and interesting activities. A Forest School is an area of woodland which acts as an outdoor classroom, where children can explore, investigate and discover the natural environment.

    All-weather Outdoor Play

There is is an extensive outdoor space encompassing a hard standing area and a large garden. A large canopy covers part of this outside area and allows outdoor play in all weather.
