Like last year we have a combined service at 10am (replacing 9.30am and 11.15am) to which all are invited – this will focus on celebrating how God has been at work over the past year and will include the APCM, together with a celebration of Holy Communion, a short reflection from Patrick, and a mix of traditional and contemporary worship. The children will go out to a Praise Party but return for communion. 8am, 4 O’clock Church and 6.30pm services take place as normal.
As part of the Annual Meeting there will be the annual election for two Churchwardens, also elections to fill six PCC vacancies (four for the usual 3 years, one casual vacancy for 2 years and one casual vacancy for 1 year) and one Emly Deanery Synod vacancy (casual for 1 year).
Nomination forms are on the welcome desk but meanwhile do think and pray about whether you might be interested in standing – especially if you are passionate about advocating for a particular ministry area such as HR / Finance / Building community / Youth / Mission etc. To find out more please speak to Patrick or Richard. To stand for these vacancies, you need to have been on the Electoral Roll for at least 6 months.
