Children and Families Minister

Holy Trinity Claygate (HTC) is a large and lively evangelical Anglican church in the Diocese of Guildford in which Children and Families ministry plays a central role in the life of the church. We are seeking to appoint a new Children and Families Minister who can grow, develop and lead our existing work with children (0-11’s) and their families.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • an enthusiasm and passion for ministry among those aged 0-11 and their families
  • the ability to deepen the faith of those who know Jesus and reach out to those who do not
  • the ability to inspire, work with and grow our existing large team of volunteers in children and families ministry
  • the skill to work in a variety of settings, including within HTC, local schools/preschools and the wider community

We can offer the successful candidate:

  • the experience of being part of an energetic and supportive staff team
  • a salary of £22,000 - £25,000 (dependent on experience) plus housing allowance
  • excellent facilities and space for children and family ministry activities

Pastoral Care and Seniors Assistant - Part Time

Holy Trinity Claygate (HTC) is a large and lively evangelical Anglican church in the Diocese of Guildford in which pastoral care and supporting seniors plays an important part. We are seeking to strengthen the team by appointing a Pastoral Care & Seniors Assistant for up to 24 hours per week to support the Pastoral Care and Seniors Minister.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Excellent pastoral skills with the ability to relate easily and sensitively to a wide range of people
  • A heart for Pastoral Care and the work of Connections/Seniors Ministry
  • Experience of working with seniors
  • The ability to work using own initiative when required, as well as to work to the requirements of the Pastoral Care and Seniors Minister
  • Flexibility and high energy with a proven ability to deal with a varied and pressured environment
  • Awareness of Safeguarding issues in relation to Seniors and Pastoral care work.
